LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) City Traffic Police Lahore (CTPL) launched a crackdown against one-wheeling and arrested two young motorcyclists involved in the life threatening practice on Wednesday.
According to the Lahore Traffic Police, DSP Township Traffic Fayyaz Bhatti conducted a combing operation and arrested two alleged one-wheelers, identified as Mujeeb and Abdullah. Other members of the group managed to escape.
The DSP personally chased the suspects on a motorcycle and apprehended them during the operation, the police said.Multiple videos showing one-wheeling, road rage and hooliganism were also found on the mobile phones of the arrested suspects, according to the police.
Cases had been registered against the arrested suspects, while further legal action was under way.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi said one-wheeling, reckless driving and overspeeding would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He urged parents to keep their children away from dangerous activities such as one-wheeling and stressed the need for greater awareness among young motorcyclists to ensure road safety.
