ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) The price of gold in the country declined on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs3,700 to Rs458,236 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams decreased by Rs3,172 to Rs392,863, while the price of 22-karat gold for 10 grams fell by Rs2,908 to Rs360,137.
In the international market, gold was quoted at $4,358 per ounce, down by $37 from the previous session.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also witnessed a decline, with 24-karat silver falling by Rs186 per tola to Rs6,800.
The price of 24-karat silver for 10 grams decreased by Rs160 to Rs5,829, while international silver was quoted at $63.21 per ounce, down by $1.86.
The gold rates were based on interbank exchange rates, with purity set at 999 for 24-karat gold, the association said.
