Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) Police have arrested four proclaimed offenders allegedly involved in cases of murder and attempted murder during a crackdown against wanted criminals in Shorkot area of Dera Ismail Khan, police said on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesman, the action was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmed, under the supervision of SP City Division Muhammad Nauman and led by DSP Sub-Division Muhammad Imran Kundi, along with SHO Shorkot Aftab Alam Baloch.
The arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Riaz and Amjad Ali, both sons of Hakim Khan, Qamar Zaman, son of Muhammad Mushtaq, all residents of Muqeem Shah, and Syed Ali, son of Azim Khan, resident of Ratta Kalanchi.
The police said the suspects were wanted in serious criminal cases, including murder and attempted murder. One 30-bore pistol, allegedly used in the crime, was also recovered from their possession.
Further investigation was underway, the spokesman added.
