ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) Martin Dow and the Government of Sindh have entered into a partnership to strengthen access to quality Primary healthcare services for the community of Baba Island, Keamari Town.
Under the agreement, the Health Department has entrusted Martin Dow with the management, operation, and maintenance of the DMC Dispensary at Baba Island, which provides free primary healthcare services to the local community, with a particular focus on underserved residents, said a press release issued here.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving access to essential healthcare services and supporting the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities.
Through the initiative, Martin Dow will bring its healthcare expertise and operational capabilities to the management of the facility, supporting the delivery of accessible primary healthcare services to the community.
The agreement was signed at the Sindh Secretariat by Javed Ghulam Muhammad, Group MD and CEO, Martin Dow Group, and Tahir Hussain Sangi, Secretary, Health Department, Government of Sindh, in the presence of Dr.
Azra Fazal Pechuho, Minister for Health, Government of Sindh, along with senior leadership from Martin Dow.
Speaking on the occasion, Javed Ghulam Muhammad, Group MD and CEO, Martin Dow Group, said “Access to quality primary healthcare is fundamental to building healthier communities.
