Talking to media after the match, Shamyl said the team did not play its best cricket in the early stages but gradually regained momentum and made full use of the opportunity.
“We did not play good cricket at the start, but we got a very good opportunity and made the most of it. The entire team performed really well, which helped us win the match,” he said.
Shamyl said the hot weather was challenging, but every player was determined to give his best for the team.
“It is very hot, but everyone in the team is trying to perform as well as possible and contribute to the team’s success,” he added.
The young batter also acknowledged the support of his family, saying their encouragement during difficult times gave him confidence to perform at his best.
“Family stands by you during difficult times. My family is also very happy with this performance,” Shamyl said.
