ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Aug, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shumaila Rana expressed full respect for the recent Supreme Court verdict, saying her party has always believed in the supremacy of the Constitution and law and would implement the court’s decision in letter and spirit.
Talking to the media, she said, “The court has announced its decision. The PML-N and our government have always honor the Constitution and law. Since the honourable court has issued its verdict, it will be implemented.
”
Rana said the PML-N had always respected the courts and neither resisted their decisions nor taken any action against them.
“We abide by the law,” she added.
She said that if someone was ill, they should receive treatment in accordance with the court’s order.
“If a decision is made to transfer the patient abroad, we accept the court’s decision,” she added.
Rana further said, “No one is above the law and the Constitution. We are subject to the law.”
