SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Aug, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shoukat Ali chaired a video-link meeting with all deputy commissioners here on Tuesday to review proposed development schemes to be executed through Own Source Revenue (OSR).
According to a spokesperson, the Director Development and Finance, all Deputy Directors Development, and the Executive Engineer Highways attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the preparation of proposed OSR-funded development schemes across various districts, thoroughly examining their feasibility, estimated costs, and other essential requirements.
The commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite the preparation of the proposed development schemes and ensure the completion of all legal and administrative formalities before forwarding the cases to higher authorities for final approval.
He emphasized that the proposed schemes should strictly focus on public needs and priorities, ensuring the inclusion of practical and viable projects for the welfare of the masses.
He further directed the officers to finalize cost estimates and technical details promptly to avoid unnecessary delays in the approval process.
The commissioner stressed that all necessary requirements should be completed within the stipulated time frame so that development projects funded through own-source revenue could be processed and implemented efficiently.
