PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th Aug, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a key suspect wanted in two human trafficking cases in Mardan district.
According to the FIA on Monday, the FIA Composite Circle Mardan arrested the suspect, identified as Amin Syed, who was wanted in two cases related to human trafficking.
The agency said the suspect allegedly collected a total of Rs 4.8 million from innocent citizens by promising to send them to Libya through illegal routes.
The suspect would be presented before a court to obtain physical remand for further investigation.
The FIA said its crackdown against elements involved in human trafficking would continue effectively.
