MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Aug, 2026) A woman lost her life while two others,sustained injuries when an air-conditioned bus hit a motorcycle near Wapda Chowk on Khanewal Road here on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, the tragic accident occurred when two motorcycles collided on the road. Subsequently, a fast-moving bus struck one of the motorcycles from the side and immediately fled the scene.
As a result of the crash, a 46-year-old woman, identified as Kulsoom Bibi, died on the spot.
The injured were identified as 68-year-old Sharifa Bibi and 23-year-old Muhammad Bilal.
Upon receiving the emergency call,Rescue 1122 promptly reached the site. The rescue personnel provided first aid to the injured victims before shifting them to Nishtar Hospital for further medical treatment.
The body of the deceased woman was also shifted to the hospital for the completion of necessary medico-legal formalities.
Further investigation was underway.
