RAJANPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Aug, 2026) Police successfully traced the blind murder of a 15-year-old boy and arrested the main accused involved in the crime, District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Imran said on Saturday.
According to the spokesperson, the DPO stated that the victim, identified as Naseer Ahmed, 15, was tortured and drowned in deep water within the jurisdiction of Thana Muhammad Pur on July 29. The culprits later dumped his body in a cotton field.
He said the case, registered under FIR No.
328/26, had initially posed a significant challenge for the police as a blind murder.
The DPO maintained that a coordinated raid, executed under a comprehensive policing strategy, utilizing modern technology and gathering critical forensic evidence from the crime scene led to the arrest of the main accused, identified as Muhammad Waqas.
The case was being investigated from all angles and further police raids were underway to apprehend second suspect involved in the murder
