SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 15th Aug, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Dost Muhammad, accompanied by DSP Traffic Mudassar Siddique, inaugurated Juvenile Driving Permit kiosks at Chand Chowk and Shahab Pura Chowk on Saturday to facilitate young drivers.
According to a press release issued here, the newly established facility at Chand Chowk dedicated to a martyred traffic warden and officially named the “Ehsanullah Shaheed Traffic Kiosk.”
The father and son of Shaheed Traffic Warden Ehsanullah were specially invited to the ceremony, and the facility was inaugurated in their presence. A special prayer was also offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred police personnel.
With the establishment of these kiosks, young citizens will now be able to obtain a Juvenile Driving Permit quickly and conveniently within a few minutes. Previously, the facility for issuing these permits was strictly limited to driving licensing centers.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Sialkot Dost Muhammad stated that in accordance with the vision of the Punjab government, practical measures are being taken to further improve public service delivery and bring police services closer to the citizens’ doorsteps.
He added that the establishment of the Juvenile Driving Permit kiosks is a significant step in this direction, providing the public with swift services at additional locations.
