ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Aug, 2026) The Pakistani Embassy in Berlin celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, paying tribute to the remarkable political and intellectual efforts of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, whose vision and determination paved the way for the creation of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany, Saqlain Syedah, hoisted the national flag during a ceremony attended by a large number of members of the Pakistani diaspora and German guests.
The stirring rendition of the national anthem captivated the attendees and added a sense of pride and emotion to the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Saqlain Syedah said that freedom is a sacred blessing and a profound responsibility achieved through the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, as well as the immense sacrifices of their forefathers.
She said Pakistan’s achievements in economic stability, environmental diplomacy, and the IT sector are a source of pride and reflect the country’s growing potential on the global stage.
