SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry on Thursday directed contractors to ensure 100 per cent attendance of sanitation workers in the field, with all workers geo-tagged and a report submitted immediately.
Chairing a meeting to review the Suthra Punjab Authority’s operations, the DC said no compromise would be made on sanitation activities and the cleanliness system.
He warned that negligence, absenteeism and poor performance would not be tolerated, and strict action would be taken against those responsible.
The meeting reviewed key performance indicators, addendums, machinery, branding and the mechanism for resolving public complaints.
DC directed that the transition from manual to mechanical cleaning be accelerated and that the relevant machinery must be visibly operational on every road.
