SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th Aug, 2026) The Sargodhga district police made comprehensive security arrangements for the 28th Safar mourning processions and Majalisis, held in connection with Hazrat Imam Hassan (AS) Shahadat observance, here on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesman, comprehensive security measures were taken and enforced during the procession, including patrols, pickets, and CCTV surveillance along the routes. Over 1,000 police personnel were deployed to ensure safety of the procession participants.
The police, including traffic police, implemented an effective plan, ensured smooth traffic flow through alternative routes for public convenience.
DPO Sargodha Touqeer Muhammad Naeem remained in the field to monitor the security arrangements, whereas the processions passed through major roads — Nori Gate, Karkhana Bazaar, Kutchehri Chowk, Amin Bazaar, Choti Sabzi Mandi, Muhammadi Bazaar, and Shrabat Chowk — before culminating at Imambargah 19 Block.
