KOHAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Aug, 2026) On the special directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat, the district administration has launched a massive crackdown against quackery and the sale of illegal medicines, sealing five unauthorized clinics and pharmacies across the district.
According to details, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Kohat, accompanied by the Drug Inspector, conducted surprise raids and detailed inspections of various medical clinics, drug shops, and pharmacies in different areas of the district.
During the extensive inspection, the team identified several establishments involved in illegal medical practices, quackery, and the sale of medicines without proper licenses.
Taking immediate action, the authorities sealed five illegal clinics and pharmacies on the spot.
Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner made it clear that no one would be allowed to play with the health and lives of the citizens. He strictly directed all pharmacy owners to ensure complete compliance with drug laws. The AC warned that strict and indiscriminate legal action would be taken against those found violating the regulations in the future. APP/AZQ
