QUETTA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Aug, 2026) In line with the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), established under the Balochistan board of Investment and trade, has made significant progress in facilitating the business community and investors during the first six months of its establishment.

According to available data, a total of 2,902 applications were processed at the Business Facilitation Centre during the past six months, while 347 applications were approved and the relevant RLCOs were issued. This progress reflects efforts to make business and investment-related procedures in the province easier, faster, and accessible through a single platform.

Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment, Bilal Khan Kakar, said that the establishment of the Business Facilitation Centre was an important step toward improving the business environment in the province and facilitating investors.

He said the Government of Balochistan aims to free investors and businesspeople from unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and provide transparent, convenient, and efficient service delivery.

He added that the BFC’s performance during its first six months was encouraging, but efforts would continue to make the application processing and approval procedures even more efficient in order to create a conducive environment for business and investment in Balochistan.

Chief Executive Officer of the Balochistan Board of Investment, Qaim Lashari, said the Primary objective of the Business Facilitation Centre is to provide investors and the business community with a one-window facility, eliminating the complexities involved in coordinating with different government departments.

He said that the processing of 2,902 applications and issuance of 347 RLCOs in just six months demonstrated that the BFC was rapidly moving toward achieving its objective of facilitating businesses.

Qaim Lashari said the institution was continuously taking measures to further improve the quality, speed, and transparency of its services.

He noted that Balochistan has vast investment potential and that the BFC’s role is to provide investors with the necessary facilities and guidance to benefit from these opportunities.

The Balochistan Board of Investment and the Business Facilitation Centre will continue to play an increasingly effective role in promoting investment, easing business activities, and creating new employment opportunities across the province.
