HARIPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Aug, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan has directed authorities to improve educational facilities and ensure a conducive learning environment for students in government schools across Haripur district.
Chairing a meeting at the District Education Office Haripur, the provincial minister reviewed the overall performance of the Education Department, available facilities and progress on ongoing development projects. He directed the concerned officials to complete all projects within the stipulated timeframe.
Arshad Ayub Khan said providing quality education and better facilities to the younger generation was among the government’s top priorities, adding that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
Later, the minister visited Government Centennial Model Higher Secondary School No. 1 Haripur and reviewed the ongoing admission campaign. The school administration briefed him on the enrolment process, while he appreciated their efforts to encourage admissions and improve the learning environment.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Tourism and Culture Malik Adeel Iqbal, Director Elementary and Secondary Education Jaffer Mansoor Abbasi, Deputy Secretary Noor Pao, district education officers, programme and monitoring officers, officials of the Communication and Works Department and other relevant officials.
