ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Aug, 2026) Prime Minister’s Coordinator Rana Ehsan Afzal Sunday said that spreading misinformation is a longstanding practice of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that the Adiala Jail administration is responsible for ensuring the basic needs and healthcare of every prisoner.
Talking to a private media news channel, he said the protest call given for September 27 will be viewed as a threat to the government.
Responding to a question, he said the PTI was talking about turning the country into “Bangladesh and Nepal,” adding that the government would not allow such a situation under any circumstances.
However, Rana Ehsan said the government had never been opposed to dialogue. If the PTI was serious about talks, he said, it should come forward, adding that the government was ready to engage with the party to resolve national issues through mutual understanding and dialogue.
