MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Aug, 2026) A high-level delegation of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Multan, led by Director Abdul Khaliq, met Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) South Punjab Fuad Hashim Rabbani.
The meeting focused on strengthening mutual cooperation and developing a joint strategy to combat corruption, promote transparency, and further strengthen accountability mechanism in government institutions across South Punjab.
It was agreed that regular awareness seminars, workshops, and training sessions on anti-corruption measures would be organised in all departments of South Punjab. These initiatives would aim to further promote accountability, professional responsibility, and ethical values among government employees.
It was further agreed that a special anti-corruption awareness campaign would be conducted across all districts of South Punjab during the Independence Day celebrations to raise public awareness about the adverse effects of corruption and the importance of transparency and integrity.
Additional Chief Secretary Fuad Rabbani appreciated the efforts of NAB Multan towards combating corruption and promoting transparency. He promised full possible cooperation and support from the South Punjab Secretariat and relevant government departments.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation that cooperation between NAB Multan and the South Punjab Secretariat would be further enhanced in other areas of mutual interest, including the protection and safeguarding of government assets.
