LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Aug, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore continued its crackdown against agent mafia and elements involved in electricity theft, arresting a woman agent and a proclaimed offender (PO) in separate operations.
According to the FIA Lahore Zone spokesperson, the Anti-Corruption Circle conducted an operation in Gulberg and arrested a woman, identified as Khadija Sameer, who was allegedly running an office providing MOFA attestation services.
During the raid, documents related to MOFA Apostille were recovered and taken into custody.
In a separate operation, the FIA arrested a PO allegedly involved in electricity theft. The accused was identified as Parvez Ahmed, who had been wanted by the FIA since 2024.
Further investigation is underway, the spokesperson added.
