LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Aug, 2026) Punjab Police on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of several deputy superintendents of police (DSPs) across the province with immediate effect.
According to the notification, the reshuffle includes transfers in Special Branch, Investigation, Operations, Organised Crime, Headquarters, Prisoner’s Escort, PTS, SPU, PHP, and SDPO offices across districts including Lahore, Bahawalnagar, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujrat, Bhakkar, Nankana Sahib, Jhang, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, and Muzaffargarh.
Among the key postings: DSP Ibrar Ahmad had been transferred from SDPO Sadar Bahawalnagar to Assistant Director/DSP (V), SPU Punjab, Lahore. DSP Shahid Sultan had been posted as Assistant Director/DSP (VII), SPU Punjab, Lahore. DSP Kashif Riaz had been transferred from DSP Investigation-VII, Investigation Branch, Lahore to DSP Operations, Mozang, Lahore.
Several other DSP officers had been assigned new responsibilities to strengthen policing and improve operational efficiency across Punjab.
