QMMB, PSC Hold Seminar On “Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah


KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th Aug, 2026) The Quaid-e-Azam academy, Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management board (QMMB), and the Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) jointly organized a seminar on Wednesday titled, “Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Concept of National Unity” to commemorate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, here at the Audio Visual Hall – mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.

Addressing the seminar, Director of the Pakistan Study Centre Dr. Erum Muzaffar, stated that the purpose of this program was to celebrate Independence Day of the country and also to reassess the impact of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision.

She noted that today’s youth was confronted with misinformation as well as an overwhelming influx of information, and therefore there was a need to acquaint the younger generation with the truth. Citing several speeches of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, she emphasized that they need to reflect upon the Quaid’s vision and his message.

She said that the Quaid delivered a message of unity and solidarity to the students, and that the message given by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah 79 years ago remained relevant for students even today.

Addressing the seminar, Dr. Minhaj Musavi of the Federal urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology said that there was a need to repeatedly reaffirm the Quaid’s vision that led to the creation of Pakistan.

He stated that the Quaid’s guiding principles of Faith, Unity, and Discipline were not merely words but constituted a complete manifesto.

He emphasized that they must uphold unity among ourselves with unwavering faith in Allah.

In his address, Professor Dr. Moinuddin Aqeel noted that the Quaid united the Muslims in accordance with the demands of the times and kept the Muslim League vigilant and dynamic.

Former federal Adviser and former Provincial Minister, Nusrat Baig Mirza while presiding over the event said that considerable positive changes have taken place in our lives, and therefore they must value the importance of independence.

He noted that the manner in which Pakistan’s global profile has risen under the present circumstances would yield positive outcomes. He urged that all political parties must set aside their differences, uphold unity in the national interest, and continue working for the betterment of the country.

Also addressing the occasion, Resident Engineer of Mazar-e-Quaid Management Board, Abdul Aleem Sheikh emphasized that they must bring further improvement to our education sector and, maintain unity.

He concluded by saying that they must overcome hatred through a sense of collectiveness and mutual respect.

On this occasion, Professor Muhammad Abid Abbasi, Zahid Hussain Johri, and Professor Dr. Moinuddin Aqeel also addressed the gathering.
