SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Aug, 2026) A 15-month-old infant lost her life, while a nine-year-old boy sustained burn injuries in two separate electrocution incidents reported across district here on Tuesday.
According Rescue 1122, the first incident took place at Baramdi Mor.
The victim, identified as 15-month-old Hania, daughter of Ejaz, was playing inside her house when she accidentally came into contact with an exposed electric wire, resulting in her immediate death.
In the second incident, which occurred in the Noorpura area along Pasrur Road, nine-year-old Ghaus Ali, son of Asif, suffered burn injuries after receiving a severe electric shock from the main gate of his residence.
Rescue 1122 rescue teams promptly rushed to the scene, administered necessary first aid to the injured boy and shifted him to the Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital (AIMTH) for further medical treatment.
