ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Aug, 2026) Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised Pakistan‘s security forces for their continued intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, describing their recent actions as a demonstration of professionalism, courage, and operational excellence under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam vision for strengthening national security.
Reacting to the latest operation in Lakki Marwat, the Interior Minister commended the forces for acting swiftly against militants, saying their timely response not only neutralized multiple attackers but also foiled their alleged plans. He described the operation as another example of the security forces’ commitment to protecting the country from militant threats.
Naqvi said the sacrifices and successes of the security forces in restoring and maintaining peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are valued by the entire nation.
He emphasized that intelligence-based operations would continue until militant networks are dismantled, reiterating the government’s resolve to sustain pressure on armed groups through targeted counterterrorism measures.
The Interior Minister also stressed that Pakistan’s fight against terrorism remains a shared national cause, asserting that the public stands united with the country’s security forces in efforts to safeguard peace and stability. He said the government’s security strategy would continue to focus on intelligence-driven operations aimed at preventing attacks and reinforcing law and order across the country.
