FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Aug, 2026) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has completed the technical scrutiny and evaluation of 799 tenders during the fiscal year 2025-26 under a transparent, merit-based procurement system.
According to FESCO spokesman, the Technical Services Directorate, working under the supervision of Chief Engineer (Technical Services) Engineer Faisal Raza Marth and on the special directives of Chief Executive Officer FESCO Engineer Muhammad Amir, successfully carried out technical and procurement-related assignments -in line with the organization’s vision of promoting transparency, merit and efficiency.
He said that the directorate completed technical evaluation of 799 tenders received from various directorates, offices and field formations strictly in accordance with NEPRA regulations and public procurement rules.
The evaluated tenders included 91 submitted by the Chief Engineer Development (PMU), 46 by the Project Director Grid System Construction (GSC), 87 by Civil Works Division-I, 67 by Civil Works Division-II, 133 by the Project Director Construction, 134 by the Material Management Directorate, 75 by the Information Technology (MIS) Directorate, 8 by the Chief Engineer Planning and Design, besides a number of tenders received from other relevant offices.
The directorate also completed vetting of 140 technical drawings, route plans and project-related data for various development schemes in addition to conducting the technical examination of 12 bidding documents within the stipulated timeframe, he added.
Chief Engineer (Technical Services) Engineer Faisal Raza Marth said that the Technical Services Directorate had ensured throughout the year that all tendering processes were conducted with complete transparency, merit, legal compliance and professional standards.
He said that improved administrative efficiency, timely decision-making, technical scrutiny and effective teamwork had eliminated unnecessary delays in procurement matters and significantly accelerated the implementation of development projects.
He said that his directorate is committed to further strengthen a transparent and merit-based procurement system besides continuing its contribution to the organization’s institutional development.
Meanwhile, FESCP Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Muhammad Amir appreciated the performance of Chief Engineer Faisal Raza Marth and his team, saying the Technical Services Wing had demonstrated exceptional professionalism, transparency and responsibility during the fiscal year 2025-26.
He directed the FESCO officials to continue handling all future development and procurement matters in accordance with the highest standards of merit, transparency, quality and efficiency to further enhance the organization’s performance and ensure better services for electricity consumers.
