CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4th Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chiniot Ayesha Rizwan, along with Managing Director WASA Muhammad Rafi, visited water supply stations established in different areas of the city and reviewed in detail the arrangements for uninterrupted supply of clean water to the citizens.
According to DC office, the DC inspected the working of motors, machinery and other equipment installed at the water supply stations of Mohalla Moazzam Shah, Osmanabad and Maskinpura.
She directed the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted water supply in all areas of the city, especially in mountainous areas and remote neighborhoods, so that citizens do not face any kind of problem.
She directed that in case of any malfunction, immediate repair or replacement arrangements should be made.
She further ordered that worn-out water supply pipes, inefficient motors and obsolete machinery should be replaced on a priority basis to make the water supply system more effective and sustainable.
During the visit, she also reviewed the cleanliness situation in different areas and directed the Clean Punjab team to ensure prompt and effective cleanliness in all neighborhoods.
She said that a clean environment and timely provision of basic amenities to citizens is the top priority of the district administration, and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
MD WASA Muhammad Rafi briefed her on the water supply system and ongoing repair works, while the DC directed officers to continuously monitor all arrangements and ensure prompt redressal of public complaints.
