ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Aug, 2026) Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Monday issued a comprehensive traffic diversion plan for a Kashmir Solidarity gathering at F-10 Markaz, advising commuters to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience during the event.
An ITP official told APP that traffic diversions would remain in place around F-10 Markaz to facilitate the smooth movement of participants and maintain the flow of traffic.
The official said traffic coming from the F-10/4 service road near the backside of Silver Oaks towards F-10 Markaz would be diverted, while motorists travelling from Jinnah Avenue were advised to use 9th Avenue as an alternate route.
He said traffic approaching F-10 Markaz from the main double road in front of Silver Oaks and Margalla Road would also be diverted, with commuters advised to travel via 9th Avenue.
The official said vehicles moving from F-10 Markaz towards F-11 via Sumbal Road would be diverted, while motorists travelling towards Pakistan Chowk should use Margalla Road as an alternate route.
Similarly, traffic coming from F-11 towards F-10 Markaz via Sumbal Road would be diverted, and road users were advised to use Margalla Road through E-11 from Haideri Chowk.
He added that traffic approaching F-10 Markaz from Pakistan Chowk would also be diverted, while commuters were advised to use Margalla Road, Shaheen Chowk and 9th Avenue as alternate routes.
The official urged citizens to cooperate with traffic police personnel, follow diversion signs and use the suggested alternate routes to ensure smooth traffic flow during the gathering.
