ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd Aug, 2026) Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Monday thanked the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Kashmiri refugees for placing their trust in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the AJK elections.
In a statement posted on X, the minister said the party’s victory reflected the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N’s development-oriented vision.
He said the people of AJK had exercised their democratic right by choosing the path of development and prosperity through the ballot.
Dr. Tariq Fazal congratulated the newly elected PML-N candidates and party workers on the party’s victory.
He said the dedication of PML-N workers and their strong public engagement had played a key role in the party’s success.
The minister said the PML-N remained committed to honouring the trust placed in it by the people of AJK and would continue working to promote transparent governance and accelerate the region’s development.
He also prayed that Allah Almighty bless AJK with lasting peace, stability and prosperity.
