SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Aug, 2026) DPO Sialkot Captain (Retd.) Dost Muhammad,SP Investigation Haseeb Raja on Sunday visited various polling stations during the AJK elections to review security arrangements,police deployment and the overall law and order situation.
During the visit,SP Haseeb Raja inspected the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of the electoral process and directed police officers and personnel deployed at polling stations to remain alert and perform their duties with impartiality, professionalism and utmost vigilance.
He stressed that all necessary measures should be taken to ensure voters were able to exercise their right to vote in a peaceful and secure environment without any fear or interference.
Police said it has taken comprehensive security measures to protect the lives and property of citizens,maintain a peaceful electoral atmosphere and ensure the rule of law throughout the polling process.
