MUZAFFARGARH, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd Aug, 2026) Rescue 1122 personnel rescued a man from drowning twice after he jumped into the T.P. Link Canal on Jhang Road near Head Muhammad Wala on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122,the emergency team rushed to the site after receiving reports of a man drowning in the canal and successfully pulled him out of the water.
Shortly after being rescued,the man jumped back into the canal,prompting rescuers to launch a second rescue operation. He was again brought to safety without injury.
Rescue officials said that the man appeared to be in a disturbed mental state.
He was later handed over to the local police, who took him into custody to complete legal formalities.
