RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir chaired a high-level development review meeting on Thursday, directing officials to accelerate beautification projects, construction of sports grounds, establishment of Sahulat Bazaars, and tree plantation drives across the district.
The meeting reviewed sites for new “On-Go” bazaars along GT Road, Gujar Khan, Taxila, and Chak Beli Khan Road.
DC Nadeem Nasir directed authorities to submit a detailed report on restoring e-green bus stops within two days, patch damaged roads, secure open manholes, and clear illegal animal sheds from urban areas.
He also instructed strict enforcement of building safety protocols across commercial zones and private housing societies.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Rimsha Javed, AC Saddar, Secretary RTA, and sub-divisional Assistant Commissioners
