BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31st Jul, 2026) The police arrested two suspects from Uch area who were involved in multiple incidents of motorcycle snatching and armed robbery, recovering Rs. 500,000 in cash along with illegal weapons used in the crimes.
According to a spokesman for Bahawalpur police, the operation was carried out under the supervision of the SDPO Ahmedpur East Circle, using professional investigative techniques, modern technology, and effective policing methods, officers successfully traced and apprehended the two suspects allegedly involved in several cases of motorcycle snatching and robbery.
Police recovered Rs500,000 in stolen cash and the illegal weapons allegedly used during the offences. Following the completion of legal formalities, the recovered cash is being returned to its rightful owners, he said. The police have regitered case against the suspects and launched investigation into it. Further probe was in process.
