GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th Jun, 2026) Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority Gujrat Dr. Syed Ata-ul-Munim conducted surprise visits to Basic Health Unit Santel, Rural Health Center Karianwala and Rural Health Center Tanda to review staff attendance, service delivery and ongoing development works.
According to official sources, during his visit to BHU Santel, he checked staff attendance and inspected construction work on the new building. He directed the contractor to ensure early completion of the project in accordance with required standards.
At Rural Health Center Karianwala, he expressed concern over non-compliance with the dress code and poor sanitation conditions.
He sought explanations from staff and reviewed medicine stocks, record registers and laboratory services. He also inspected the X-ray room and directed completion of the dark room on priority to make diagnostic facilities functional.
At Rural Health Center Tanda, he interacted with patients and inspected various departments, including the laboratory, medical store, gynecology services and immunization counters. He directed staff to improve patient care and strictly follow referral protocols, warning that negligence would not be tolerated.
