PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Jun, 2026) A dispute between women in the village of Managi, Swabi district, on Sunday turned into a violent confrontation, leaving one man dead and four others, including women and children, injured.
According to police, tensions escalated between the two families after a disagreement involving women. The situation worsened when the argument turned into a physical clash, involving gunfire as well as the use of sticks and batons.
DSP Hassan Khan said that Akbar, son of Liaqat Ustad, was killed on the spot after being hit by a bullet.
Among the injured were Liaqat Ustad, a young girl and relatives, who were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police rushed to the scene upon receiving information about the incident, secured the area, collected evidence and launched a full investigation.
DSP Hassan Khan stated that initial findings suggest the incident stemmed from a family and domestic dispute; however, all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined.
Police have initiated efforts to identify and arrest those involved in the deadly clash.
