Anmol alias Pinky says she completed her early education at a government girls’ school in Sohrab Goth, Karachi, and moved to Lahore in 2006 due to her interest in modelling and acting
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 14th, 2026) A detailed investigation report of accused Anmol alias Pinky, arrested in a narcotics case, has surfaced, revealing alleged disclosures about her background, drug network, and links with a wider trafficking setup, according to
police sources.
The report states that Anmol alias Pinky told investigators she completed her early
education at a
government girls’
school in Sohrab Goth,
Karachi, and moved to
Lahore in 2006 due to her interest in modelling and acting.
She claimed she later met a girl at Minar-e-Pakistan and started living with her.
She further stated that she used to
visit film directors’ offices for modelling work, where she met her former
police officer husband, who allegedly introduced her to a drug trafficking network and involved her in narcotics supply.
According to her statement, she later became part of the network through her husband, subsequently separated
from him, and began operating her own alleged drug supply activities.
She also claimed that a female associate in the network was married to a foreign national of African origin, who was allegedly involved in cocaine smuggling into Pakistan.
The accused further stated that she handled drug deliveries in briefcases to individuals in
Karachi and said the network operated across
Karachi,
Lahore and
Rawalpindi.
She also claimed she later developed a courier network of seven riders in Karachi, of whom four were arrested while three are still allegedly active.
She further told investigators that a
bank account was opened under another person’s name for financial transactions linked to the network.
Meanwhile,
police sources said that Anmol alias Pinky’s drug test has not yet been conducted.
They added that although a medical examination was carried out, no samples were taken for drug testing. Officials said standard procedure involves collecting blood, urine and hair samples for laboratory analysis.
Sources also pointed out alleged irregularities in earlier cases registered against her in
Lahore in
2020 and 2022, stating that she was neither properly arrested nor declared a proclaimed offender in
court records.
They further said that in one case, a suspect was acquitted due to lack of proper evidence and forensic testing of recovered narcotics was not conducted.
The investigation officer of the earlier cases has since retired, while authorities said the matter will now be re-examined after legal consultation and further inquiry.
