PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th May, 2026) The Chinese cultural center in Peshawar China Window has produced a Pashto song to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic friendship between Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China.
The song was written by renowned poet Professor Dr. Abaseen Yousafzai, while noted journalist and China Window Administrator Amjad Aziz Malik directed the project.
Music for the song was composed by prominent musician Gohar Jan, while internationally acclaimed singers Dr. Irfan Khalil and Yamsha Noor lent their voices to the production.
The video was filmed at the historic Gandhara site of Takht-i-Bahi and a 142-year-old traditional house in Peshawar, symbolizing the long-standing cultural and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.
The lyrics portray a poetic exchange between a Pakistani youth and a Chinese girl, reflecting friendship, affection and cultural harmony between the two nations.
The song will be officially launched on May 20 in Islamabad in the presence of prominent figures from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and the Chinese Embassy.
