TDCP Chief Reviews Murree Development Schemes, Sets Four-month Deadline

RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th May, 2026) Managing Director, Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), Asim Raza, on Monday reviewed ongoing development schemes in Murree and directed authorities to complete key projects within four months.

During a visit to the Kashmir Point Adventure Track, he instructed officials to develop tourist-friendly facilities while preserving the natural environment.

The proposed facilities include gazebos, decks, sculpture models, tuck shops, suspension bridges, climbing walls and other recreational features aimed at enhancing visitor experience.

Asim Raza directed the concerned officers and contractor to ensure the timely completion of the project, stressing quality and environmental protection.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the new adventure track would provide a unique experience to tourists, noting that Murree previously lacked a proper and standardised track of this kind.

He added that, in line with the vision of the Punjab chief minister and senior minister, efforts were underway to transform Murree into an international-standard tourist destination without compromising its natural beauty.
