ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th May, 2026) The Government of Pakistan on Friday strongly refuted speculative and misleading reports circulating in certain media circles and on social media regarding alleged targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from the brotherly state of the United Arab Emirates.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Interior clarified that after thoroughly reviewing all available data, it is evident that such claims are malafide, baseless, and part of a vicious propaganda campaign driven by vested interests.
The ministry emphasized that no country-specific or sect-specific deportations of Pakistanis are taking place from the UAE or any other nation. Any deportations that do occur are routine administrative actions based on violations of local immigration laws, overstay, or issues related to illegal documentation—standard procedures followed by all sovereign states.
The statement further noted that thousands of Pakistani nationals continue to obtain work visas and travel to the UAE and other friendly countries without any hindrance, provided they fulfill the respective host country’s visa and employment requirements.
Terming the circulating stories as “malicious and fabricated,” the ministry warned against the spread of fake news aimed at creating unnecessary panic among overseas Pakistanis.
It added that any individual case concerning a Pakistani national abroad is addressed through established diplomatic channels, with the concerned authorities coordinating via the Foreign Office to ensure due support and resolution.
The government urged the public to refrain from sharing unverified reports and rely only on authentic, official information.
