CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th May, 2026) A man sustained burn injuries after a fire erupted at a tea stall due to a gas cylinder leakage on Faisalabad Road in Chak Bandi area on Wednesday, according to Rescue 1122 officials.
Rescue authorities said the fire broke out when gas leaking from a cylinder ignited inside the tea stall.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control through timely action.
The injured man was identified as 45-year-old Malik Ali, son of Ahmed and a resident of Shamsul Hassan Town, Chiniot. He suffered burn injuries during the incident.
Rescue personnel provided first aid at the scene before shifting the injured man to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Chiniot for further medical treatment.
