FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th May, 2026) Government College Women University (GCWU) Faisalabad organized a solidarity walk to mark the completion of one year of Bunyan-um-Marsoos. victory, here on Thursday.
The walk was led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) and attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and staff.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen said the sacrifices and services of the Pakistan Army for safeguarding the country’s ideological and geographical borders are unforgettable.
She appreciated the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said the armed forces are effectively fulfilling national security responsibilities under his leadership.
Participants carried banners and placards highlighting patriotism and national security. An ISPR documentary on “Marka-e-Haq” was also screened for students, while special prayers were offered at the university mosque for the country’s peace, stability, and the Pak Armed Forces.
