Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd May, 2026) Police in Dera Ismail Khan have arrested two suspects involved in multiple theft and robbery cases and recovered stolen property, including a tractor and cash, officials said on Saturday.
According to police spokesman, the operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed under the supervision of SP City Muhammad Nauman. DSP Suburb Circle Kashif Sattar Khan, along with SHO Shorkot Aftab Alam Baloch, led the operation.
A 2007 model tractor, which had been snatched from Bypass Road in recent days, was recovered during the operation.
Police also seized two Qingqi rickshaws, an Alto car used in robberies, and cash amounting to Rs140,000 from the suspects.
The arrested individuals were identified as Muhammad Rasool alias Umar and Akhtar Zaman, who were reportedly involved in several cases of theft and robbery. Further investigation is underway.
The recovered tractor has been handed over to its rightful owners, who appreciated the police efforts. DSP Kashif Sattar Khan reaffirmed that operations against criminals would continue without discrimination.
