HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd May, 2026) A heritage building, being used as a warehouse of plastic items, in Pakka Qila caught fire here on Sunday evening, leaving a worker of the warehouse wounded with an injury to his head.
The spokesman of Rescue 1122 informed that they rushed firefighters to that densely populated area around 6 pm.
He added that the firefighting operation lasted for over an hour during which the blazes were overpowered.
He identified the injured person as Habibur Rehman who was given first aid at the site of the incident.
Earlier, in the wee hours of Sunday an explosion in a cylinder occurred in an LPG shop in Khursheed Town locality.
The Rescue official confirmed that no person was hurt in that incident which left 7 shops partially damaged.
