Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi visited Dera Ismail Khan on Friday and called on senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Malik Pyas Hussain Awan at his residence to offer condolences on the death of his mother.
Former provincial minister Abdul Haleem Khan Kausaria also accompanied the governor during the visit.
Governor Kundi expressed deep sorrow over the bereavement and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
He assured the grieving family of his sympathy and solidarity during the difficult time.
In a separate visit to Shah Dau in Paharpur, Governor Kundi attended a condolence gathering over the death of renowned horse rider Malik Kazim Ghanghan of Shah Dau, who was associated with the Sultan Bahu Horse Club.
The governor offered Fateha for the departed soul, expressed condolences with the bereaved family, and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience for the family members.
He extended his heartfelt sympathies and paid tribute to the services and legacy of the late horse rider.
