HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Apr, 2026) A delegation of Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry (HSATI) held a meeting with the Federal Tax Ombudsman Muhammad Farooq Azam here on Thursday.
According to a press statement, the ombudsman briefed the delegation that they deal with issues pertaining to the Federal board of Revenue (FBR).
He added that they try to resolve the issues within 8 to 15 working days and that their success rate was around 90 percent.
The association’s Vice Chairman Ehsan Mueed Shaikh appreciated the performance of the ombudsman’s office.
He thanked the official for giving them a detailed briefing about the functioning of the tax ombudsman.
