ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Apr, 2026) The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Islamabad Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Kurri, Rehara, CM Pak Zong and related feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Paryal, Moorat, Kohala, Fatima Jinnah, NPF-I, NPF-II, Doctor Town, PWD-I, PWD-II, Bank Road-I, City Center, Pakistan Railway, Tipu Road, Dk. Farman Ali, CMH Flats and adjoining feeders.
Similarly, in Rawalpindi City and Attock Circles, electricity will remain unavailable from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Fawara Chowk feeder.
In Jhelum Circle, the affected areas during the same hours include Pakhwal, F-2 (Chip Board), Industrial, F-10 (Kala Base), Jakkar, F-9 (Chak Daulat) and Karoli feeders.
In Chakwal Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO, Dharyala Jalip and surrounding feeders.
Meanwhile, in GSO Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on 132-kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132-kV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
