ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Apr, 2026) Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Sunday, strongly condemned a shooting incident that occurred in the United States during a dinner event attended by US President Donald Trump and his wife.
According to reports, the firing took place at a dinner gathering where President Trump and the First Lady were present.
The acting president expressed his best wishes for President Trump and his spouse, while also conveying relief that they, along with all other attendees, remained safe, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.
Gilani termed such acts as “cowardly attacks” and said these were highly condemnable.
