ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Apr, 2026) The Federal Capital has been turned into a living canvas of purple as jacaranda trees reach full bloom, enveloping it in a striking seasonal display from April to May, especially along 7th Avenue, Jinnah Avenue and Margalla Road where the floral spectacle draws crowds daily.
All the local tv channels highlighted widespread appreciation from motorists, citizens and visitors who described the jacaranda bloom as a breathtaking natural display across Islamabad.
Many commuters shared that driving along major roads such as 7th Avenue and Jinnah Avenue has become a visually soothing experience, with purple blossoms creating a refreshing contrast against the city’s greenery.
Visitors and residents alike praised the seasonal transformation, calling it one of the most picturesque sights the capital offers each year.
A Capital Development Authority (CDA) official said the beautification of Islamabad is the result of planned landscaping efforts by the department, not jacaranda trees alone, adding that a variety of seasonal and ornamental plants are maintained to enhance the city’s overall visual appeal.
The official further noted that alongside jacarandas, other flowering trees including yellow-bloom varieties also contribute significantly to the city’s charm.
He added that the jacaranda season is widely admired by residents and visitors as part of Islamabad’s broader and carefully maintained green infrastructure.
A resident praised the view along 7th Avenue, saying the jacaranda blossoms in full bloom have turned daily morning and evening walks into a refreshing and visually pleasing experience, with the purple canopy adding charm to the surroundings.
A visitor described the jacaranda bloom in Islamabad as “pure magic,” saying the capital transforms into a dreamy purple paradise each year when the trees blossom, creating a peaceful atmosphere ideal for enjoying nature and capturing scenic views across the city.
