MULTAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Apr, 2026) The district administration, in collaboration with the Rescue 1122, conducted mock drills on Saturday
to prepare for possible flood situations.
The exercise demonstrated an effective emergency response, including rescue operations, first aid, and evacuation of affected individuals.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hafiz Muhammad Mudassar inspected the drills and received a detailed briefing. District Emergency Officer Dr Muhammad Hussain and Emergency Officer Muhammad Bilal were also present.
Officials said the purpose of the exercise was to enhance the operational capacity of Rescue 1122 and ensure timely response during emergencies.
During the drill, rescuers showcased the use of boats, life jackets, and other safety equipment in simulated flood conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC stressed the need to complete all arrangements ahead of any potential flooding, adding that the district administration has already finalized an emergency response plan.
