ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th May, 2026) Inter board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah on Thursday assured students that investigations into repeated Cambridge paper leaks were underway, reaffirming that all affected papers in this same series would be re conducted with the same fee and without any additional charges.
While speaking in an exclusive conversation with a local news channel, Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah said the paper leak has been confirmed and authorities are awaiting a formal response from Cambridge.
He stated that a strict and high-level investigation is being conducted to determine the real cause of the incident, with all relevant agencies involved in the probe.
He added that the matter has been referred to the Cyber Investigation Agency for detailed inquiry to identify those responsible across different zones.
He said that another meeting has also been scheduled for tomorrow under the direction of the Minister to trace the root cause of the issue.
ED noted that, according to Cambridge, this is a case of paper theft, and investigations are underway to determine whether the breach occurred across an entire zone or was limited to Pakistan.
Responding to another query, he confirmed that students should not be worried as the re-conducted papers will be held in the same series with the same fee and examination dates will be announced soon.
He added that the papers will not be shifted to another series, ensuring that there is no impact on admissions, and said that all possible efforts are being made to resolve the matter as per official policy.
He concluded by reiterating that student interest remains the top priority and all necessary steps are being taken to ensure fairness and transparency.
