FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th May, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen on Tuesday approved
a Rs 200 million project for the construction and widening of a key road
linking Chiniot-Bhawana-Jhang Road with Tehsil Headquarters (THQ)
Hospital Bhawana through Aminpur Road.
Chairing a meeting of Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP),
she said that the move was expected to significantly improve public access
and ease transportation woes in the area.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chiniot Madam Ayesha Rizwan through video
link briefed the divisional commissioner about the importance and utility
of 4.40-kilometer road project connecting Chiniot-Bhawana-Jhang Road
to THQ Hospital Bhawana via Aminpur Road.
After reviewing the briefing, the divisional commissioner endorsed immediate
implementation of the project and directed the relevant departments to initiate
construction work without any delay.
She stressed that strict adherence to quality standards must be ensured
throughout the construction process so that the project delivers durable
and efficient infrastructure for the public.
She further directed the deputy commissioner to conduct regular site visits
and closely monitor progress to ensure completion of the project within the
stipulated timeframe.
The timely execution of road project would provide improved and modern
transportation facilities particularly facilitating smoother access to the hospital
and adjoining localities, she added.
Director Development Asif Iqbal Chohan and other officers were also present.
